We are pleased to invite academics and students working in profession-based multicultural contexts to a seminar "Raising awareness of scientific epistemology/ies: Potential biases and opportunities in society and academia" on April 29th, 2024 at VID Stavanger.

In the last decade, calls for decolonization have swept across academia, calling for self-critical and uncomfortable questions to be asked to search for a profound and robust justice between colonized and colonizer. In a Norwegian context, the need for decolonization was highlighted after the Parliament received the report of the Truth and Reconciliation on the Norwegization of the Sami, Kven, and Skog-Finn people (2023).
