Supplementary education for nurses trained abroad
VID has developed a specially adapted, flexible programme of study that seeks to qualify candidates with foreign training for authorization as nurses in Norway. The assignment is a collaboration between Diakonhjemmet Hospital, Norlandia Care, Oslo Nursing Home Administration and VID, and its objective is to raise the level of professional skills in the care services through qualification of staff members who have their training from abroad. The County Governor of Oslo and Akershus has allocated funding for the project.
