Environment and sustainability
VID's activities are aimed at contributing to sustainable social development and welfare by reducing social inequality, promoting community, and helping people in vulnerable life situations.
Environmental and sustainability efforts are key priorities at VID. We aim to develop comprehensive environmental management practices where all units work to reduce their local environmental impacts. This is in line with our overarching environmental goals.
Social Sustainability
VID places a particular emphasis on social sustainability, which encompasses trust, safety, belonging, and access to resources such as work and education. We enhance social sustainability by taking our societal mission seriously. We do this by developing programmes that reflect the diversity of our society. We explore diversity through our research. We offer bachelorprogram's in social sustainability.
