• Explore historic Stavanger: Take a trip to Gamle Stavanger, where you can stroll along the cobblestone streets and admire the beautiful preserved wooden houses. Also, visit Stavanger Cathedral and the Stavanger Maritime Museum to explore the city's history and maritime traditions.
• Visit museums: In Stavanger, you can find museums for every taste. Are you interested in art, archaeology, oil and technology, canning, or Vikings? Stavanger has the museum for you.
• Stroll in Fargegata: In Øvre Holmegate, you will find many colorful houses, with cafes, shops, cozy pubs, and art galleries. A perfect street for Instagram!
• Get out in nature: Around and in Stavanger, you will find many beautiful nature experiences. How about taking a trip out to the Ryfylke Islands, or climbing Preikestolen? If heights are not for you, you can always see Preikestolen from the cruise on Lysefjorden.

• Visit the student house Folken: Folken has many events aimed at students, and here you can find students from all of Stavanger's educational institutions at concerts or in the bar.
• Participate in festivals and events: Stavanger is known for its many festivals and events throughout the year. Among the most popular are Gladmat Festival, also known as Norway's largest food festival, and Kapittel, an international festival for literature and freedom of expression. The student welfare organization SiS also has many events for and by students.
