In January 2022, VID opened its brand new campus in Bergen. Historical surroundings, state-of-the-art facilities and good academic meeting places are just some of what students are now experiencing after VID was co-located at Haraldsplass in Bergen.
Café Linde is VID Bergen's canteen. In addition to a rich salad bar and a diverse selection of sandwiches, wraps and drinks, a hot soup and a main course are served every day at discounted prices. The canteen is shared with Haraldsplass Deaconess Hospital, so you will also meet doctors, nurses and other health personnel who work at the hospital.
Haralds kaffebar has its own barista and a rich selection of different types of coffee such as Espresso, Americano, Cappuchino and Chili Maple Moccas to name a few. It is also possible to buy tea, buns, chocolate and cakes with the coffee.
An important part of the new premises is the state-of-the-art skills center. Here, as a student, you will receive both training and the opportunity to practice with modern equipment in realistic surroundings.
All university towns in Norway have a student welfare organisation that works for the students. A student welfare organisation has activities and services well adapted to the students' everyday lives. Sammen offers student housing, exercise facilities, food, kindergarten and health services, so that students can have the best possible study time.

Regines guesthouse is wholly owned by Stiftelsen Diakonova Haraldsplass which, among other things, owns Haraldsplass Diakonale Hospital and parts of the university college. Regines is the first building you come to when entering our area in Ulriksdalen. The prices are reasonable and the guesthouse has a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
