Anita Gjermestad

Background

I have teaching experience from upper secondary school and university college in special education and health and social subjects. I have broad experience from teaching in environmental work and the habilitation field aimed at people with severe intellectual disabilities and severely impaired cognitive function, both at bachelor's and master's levels. My research focus has been on user involvement in research, as well as research and knowledge development in collaboration with the field of practice. Furthermore, frameworks for citizenship for people with severe intellectual disabilities and who do not express themselves verbally are of particular interest in research.
