Academic profile
Davide Bertelli has a Master's Degree in Human Geography from the University of Oslo and a BA in Geography & International Relations from the University of Plymouth (UK). In his Master's dissertation, he analysed how migrants in a city in northern Italy experience belonging and how this impacts their political participation. After graduating from the University of Oslo in 2019, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), where, among others, he contributed to two research projects: Governing and Experiencing Citizenship in Multicultural Scandinavia (GOVCIT) and Understanding the Political Dynamics of Émigré Communities in an Era of European Democratic Backsliding (DIASPOlitic). In addition to Italian, he speaks fluently English, Norwegian and Portuguese.
