Marianne Skjortnes

Academic profile

Has extensive experience from work with development issues in several African countries, particularly in Madagascar, where she has lived and worked with research and consultancy on development issues for several years, as well as employee of Norwegian Mission Society working with the Malagasy Lutheran Church as a teacher. Research focus has been on culture, social change, and gender and development. Currently involved in research on religion and development.
