VID’s research group HELSELiv (HEALTHY Life) welcomes you to an open methods seminar to learn more about the research method “Walking / Go-Along Interviews” in health research. We are pleased to welcome Professor Ruth Bartlett from the University of Southampton, formerly a professor at VID Specialized University, who will present the content, advantages, and areas of application of this research method within health research. Bartlett has applied this method for many years in her extensive research on dimensions of citizenship among people in particularly vulnerable situations.
In addition, Dr. Lise Kathrine Jepsen Trangsrud from the University of South-Eastern Norway will present her PhD work, in which she used the “go-along” method to explore how individuals with eating disorders experienced the use of nature in recovery.
The seminar will include lectures and plenary discussions both before and after lunch.
The seminar will be held in English.
The seminar fee is NOK 400 for external participants. Free for VID employees.
