Academic work involves international collaboration. This sometimes means that you have to fly, but maybe not always? VID will facilitate so that employees can make environmentally friendly travel choices when they go on staff mobility with Erasmus +.

When you travel as an employee with Erasmus + funds, it is possible to get extra funds to cover the costs of environmentally friendly travel. When you apply for Erasmus + funds, you can check if you want to take an environmentally friendly means of transport. VID supports this with 200 euros per employee, in addition to the regular travel grant. If there are many applicants, those with the largest carbon footprint will be given priority.
