Associations in the Norwegian Missionary Society (NMS)
In 1842, the Norwegian Missionary Society was founded in Stavanger by delegates from local associations ("foreninger"). Here you will find the list of associations. The list attempts to display the name and founding year. For the location, we refer to the municipality (township), in some cases also with approximate map coordinates.
