Erasmus+ is a scholarship program funded by the European Commission. Erasmus+ scholarships apply to partners within Europe, with a few exceptions. If you are applying for a teacher scholarship, you must choose partners that VID has a mobility agreement with. If you are applying for a staff scholarship, a mobility agreement with the host institution is not required.

Employees can apply for scholarships on an ongoing basis. Applications are submitted digitally. An application should include an Erasmus+ mobility agreement for the planned stay, signed by both the applicant and the host institution. All applications must be approved by an authorized manager. Approval of the application also entails clarification on how expenses beyond the scholarship will be handled. Applications are processed with the trust that they have been approved within the department/faculty.
