The panorama seminar 2023 is about how geopolitical changes change the framework and prerequisites for international knowledge collaboration.

The seminar is organized at the University of Oslo from 12 September at 11:00 a.m. to 13 September at 14:00.
The seminar will be an important meeting place for Norwegian institutions and professionals who collaborate with countries covered by the Panorama Strategy (Brazil, Canada, India, Japan, China, South Africa, South Korea, Russia and the USA) in education, research and working life.
The target group for the seminar is academic and administrative staff who are involved in educational cooperation with the Panorama countries as well as relevant management at Norwegian universities and colleges.
The program includes plenary lectures and discussions that will deal with how geopolitics challenges and yet provides opportunities for international knowledge collaboration by e.g. Mette Halskov Hansen, Cecilie Hellestveit, Gunnar Skirbekk, Gunnar Sivertsen, Mari Elken, Andreas Snildal and Torkjell Leira.
In addition, there will be parallel sessions and workshops on a number of relevant topics such as: Academic freedom, sustainability, responsible international cooperation, intercultural competence, GDPR in digital cooperation, the Nordic areas, student mobility, social impact and dissemination of results, tuition fees, COIL as well as links between education, research and business life.
There will also be time for country-based gatherings, so-called Country Cafés, where those working towards the same country can meet and discuss challenges and solutions. If you are considering applying for project funding for collaboration with one of the Panorama countries, it is very useful to attend the Panorama seminar.
