Through the Student Welfare Council in Stavanger, students have passed a resolution supporting the union's desire to increase the semester fee. The background for the increase is to strengthen the general welfare offering to students.

The semester fee gives you access to lectures, exercises, and exams at the educational institution, as well as student loans. In addition, you can take advantage of all of SiS's offerings. This includes free health services, event support, dental care support, welfare funds, affordable training at SiS sports center, and more.

Students on NORPLUS, SOKRATES, and ERASMUS programs are exempt since the semester fee is paid as part of the exchange agreement.
