Center for Intercultural Communication (SIK) at VID Stavanger will collaborate with the University of South Bohemia (Czech Republic) and the University of Iceland in a project funded by EEA Grants.
Center for Intercultural Communication (SIK) at VID Stavanger will collaborate with the University of South Bohemia (Czech Republic) and the University of Iceland in a project funded by EEA Grants.

The project is called "Reinforcement of competencies of teachers and other educational staff in the area of including pupils coming from socio-culturally disadvantaged environments" and lasts 2020-2022. Oleksandr Ryndyk participates in the project on behalf of VID.
Main goal: to share knowledge about and experiences with inclusive education for students with a minority background
The overall goal of the project is to share knowledge about and experiences with inclusive education for students with a minority background from Norwegian and Icelandic contexts to teacher students at the University of South Bohemia (Czech Republic). Such a collaboration between the University of Southern Bohemia and the participating Norwegian and Icelandic partners will contribute to the establishment of education and development programs in multicultural education and further education of teachers, special educators, and social workers. The project will further connect different institutions and experts who work with inclusive education and cultural exchange in their countries.
