The first working package within the NORPART-EPHAM project is now finished, with two approved courses at the master's level

NORPART-EPHAM project members have developed two new elective courses at Master level within clinical nursing.

Co-project leader and WP1 leader Professor Zada Pajalic (VID) and WP members Associate professors Åshild Gjellestad (VID), Begna Tulu (AMBO) and Asresash Demissie (Jimma), in collaboration with all NORPART-EPHAM project members, developed two new elective courses at Master level; Participatory Action Research (PAR) in Health Care (5 ECTS) and Global Health Nursing (5 ECTS).

The VID's Faculty for Health Sciences Education Board formally approved the courses in October 2022. These two elective courses are part of the Master program in clinical nursing. Professor Pajalic is the subject manager for the PAR course and Associate Professor Gjellestad is subject manager for the Global Health Course. These elective courses start in February 2023 and will be open for admission to all students who meet the criteria to study at the master's level in the subject of nursing.

About the the EPHAM- NORPART project

EPHAM is a five year collaborative NORPART project between the Faculty of Health Studies at VID Specialized University (VID), Norway and College of Medicine and Health Science at Ambo University (AU) and Faculty of Public Health at Jimma University (JU), Ethiopia.
