19 October 2023 is the first gathering for this year's course in higher education for employees at VID. The course language is English. You can also choose to join a course conducted in Norwegian. Sign up on the bottom of this page.

The course, which extends over two semesters, has both physical, hybrid and digital sessions. The goal is to provide participants with the competence to handle basic concepts, models and theories that can contribute to new insight and understanding of the concepts of teaching, learning and work at a university.

In the period from 2023-2025, our courses in UHped will be offered in collaboration with Uniped at the University of Stavanger. In the autumn of 2023, we will offer two courses. One course in Norwegian for VID employees. The English language course will have participants from VID, UiS and NMBU.

The course's theoretical framework is based on sociocultural theories where emphasis on learning through participation in communities of practice and the use of various mediating tools are central. Basic didactic questions in all topics will be:
