Around the start of August, you will receive your username and password via email. It will be sent to the email address you provided when you applied for admission to a study program.
When you have received your login details complete these steps:

• Read about Being a student in Norway
• Activate your user account in Feide.
• Find and pay your invoice, if applicable.
• Register for the semester.
• Look up your schedule in TimeEdit.
• Access your courses in Canvas, VID's learning platform.
• Make sure you have an approved PC for teaching and exams.
• Access free Office 365 for your devices.
• Apply for and submit a certificate of good conduct (This applies only to certain programs).

• Sign on to the wireless network/WIFI
• Order your student ID card. The student card is only available to order from the onsite campus.
• Download the Student ID app
• Find out about printing and copying services
• Get familiar with Canvas - our learning platform for courses and learning
• Download and install Zoom.
• Explore the opportunities for studying/work placement abroad
• Read the requirements for medical testing (applies to selected studies)
• Check the student web page. Here you will find important information for you as a student, about health, student happenings, and more.
• Follow VID on Facebook, Instagram , and Tiktok so that you know what is happening.
