VID run an annual professional development course for academics who hold researcher competency (PhD). The aim is to support their applications to the highest level of academic competency (Professor, Docent, Researcher I).

Ten researchers from VID was present at the European Academy of Religion conference #EuARe2024 in Palermo. The researchers presented on several panels and were responsible for organizing three of them.
