About the project
The course Truth and Reconciliation as Theology and Practice provides knowledge and theoretical tools that enable pastors and other staff to contribute to local and regional reconciliation processes in both church and society. The course explores a didactic approach in which a framework of online lectures and media resources is combined with gatherings that are thematically and geographically adapted to different regions. A model will be developed in which these gatherings can be scaled up and diversified regionally. SIK is responsible for the Follow-up research on the advanced training programme, which will examine its outcomes both in terms of changes in participants’ attitudes and by monitoring the impact the course has on local and regional initiatives carried out as part of their professional practice.
