Today's educational institutions must develop education that meets the needs of tomorrow's society and contribute to equipping future professionals and practitioners to be active, innovative and reflective participants in the face of the complex challenges that health services are characterized by.
The project is an interdisciplinary and cross-sector development project where we want to investigate the possibility of developing a common study concept that can contribute to increased competence in interdisciplinary collaboration, development of services and participation from the users of the services.
The purpose of the project is to
- Develop new arenas for interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral collaborative learning, as well as increase competence in user participation, innovation and service development
- Investigate the possibility of establishing study offer and forms of practice that contribute to solving society's needs for sustainable and innovative health services.
- Develop a study course for selected studies at VID, HVL and UiB for piloting.
- Develop meetingplaces for healthprofessions and- science, health innovation, the health services and the users of these for exchange of expertice and ideating together.
Central to the project are two larger workshops for insight and ideating with participation from both students, service user representatives and user-organisations, employees of various educational institutions and the municipal health service. This forms the basis for the design for a new study concept, witch futher on can be piloted, tested and developed.
