About the project

How does the environmental design and use of telecare solutions in homes influence on activities and participation in everyday life for children and youths with disabilities? This project will focus on both individual and structural level.

The aim is to get increased knowledge about living arrangements for this group of citizens, about the interaction between the individuals and their surroundings, and about how the physical and technological solutions in the homes can enhance or inhibit activities and participation.

I plan for an explorative qualitative design with case studies, with a combination of fieldwork, interviews, group interviews and analysis of public documents.
