Mental health (PSYKHELS)

Mental health is an interdisciplinary research and practice field within mental health care and municipal health, care, and social work. The purpose of the research group is to help strengthen quality and competence related to prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation in mental health with a primary focus on practice-based research.

What are we researching?

The research focuses on the user's/patient's active participation, recovery processes, interdisciplinarity, collaboration, family and network work, substance abuse and addiction issues, interventions, and health-promoting relationship work related to all life phases. The group also focuses on the implications this has for education for professional practice.
