The research groups should contribute to research of high quality, development of individual projects and increased publication activities in relevant research fields.

Each research group includes a research group leader; academic staff and PhD students. Master students and bachelor students; as well as technical and administrative staff, may also participate. A research group consists of at least six people, and should normally not exceed 25.
