Research ethics

Research ethics includes ethical aspects of the research role and the pursuit of research work.

This page is a resource for researchers and students to be able to orientate themselves in the field of research ethics. Relevant ethical aspects can be fairness, independence, safeguarding the dignity of research participants and relation to general ethical norms in society.

The Norwegian National Research Ethics Committees run an online resource on research ethics for researchers. We recommend researchers to use this resource actively. It also provides resources in English here.
