Programme in Christianity, Religion, Philosophies of Life and Ethics
Many young people are interested in religion and spirituality in our multicultural society. You are perhaps one of those who likes to discuss existential issues with your friends? Humanistic values and the Christian faith and tradition have been important building blocks in the evolution of Norwegian society. However, the population of Norway is today largely composed of groups with other traditions and religious affiliations.

Learning outcomes
The one-year Programme in Christianity, Religion, Philosophies of Life and Ethics provides a good introduction to the stories of the bible and the Christian faith. Studies about the history and traditions of the Church and the interface with beliefs and practices in other religions and faiths are also a central part of the programme. This will give students a good understanding of the importance of religion in general and the Christian faith in particular for society and for individuals.
Options for further studies
The one-year programme can be taken as an independent study. It can also be taken as part of a Bachelor's degree in Theology or the Programme of Professional Study in Theology.
