Research Administration

The team is responsible for key support functions related to externally funded projects, the PhD programmes, career development for early‑career researchers and other research administration tasks.

We are responsible for supporting the development externally funded projects. We provide expertise in project support throughout the entire project lifecycle. During the application phase, we assist researchers and research groups from idea development to final submission, including proposal review, budget preparation and guidance on relevant national and international funding sources.

We also manage regulations and central procedures related to VID’s PhD programmes, where we form a key link between the central research administration and the PhD centres. In addition, we provide training in research ethics and coordinate career development for early‑career researchers, as well as other career‑enhancing initiatives for the different academic career pathways.

The section also serves as the secretariat for VID’s Research Committee and Research Ethics Committee.
