The conference will be held at VIDs campus in Stavanger, Norway, from June 14th – 16th, 2023.

The implications of migration on the lived dimension of individuals and communities across various local, glocal and transnational contexts have been a central concern for the interdisciplinary focus of the MIGREL research group. A particular gaze has been devoted to the interface between migration, religion and intercultural relations, viewing these interrelated dimensions as a rich and colourful tapestry of interweaving theories and approaches.

MIGREL International Conference 2023 invites contributions through an open call in which scholars, practitioners, migrants and members of the civil society take part in exchanging in-depth perspectives on the complex diversity of discourses, experiences and practices concerning migration, religion and intercultural relations.
