An important event in the launching of our rebranded PhD-centre, Centre for the Study of World Christianity and Religion, will take place at VID's campus in Stavanger 11-12 June. Two of UK’s most prominent experts on Christianity in Ethiopia, Jörg Haustein (Cambridge University) and Romina Istratii (SOAS, University of London) will be key-note speakers and share recent findings from their research in Ethiopia.

In addition, several of our own PhD-students: Teshome Amenu, Tsion Alemayehu and Maria Karlsson – in addition to Associate Professor Girum Zeleke will present their ongoing reserach on Chriatianity in Ethiopia.
