Symposium on Christianity in Ethiopia

Two of UK's most prominent researchers on Christianity in Ethiopia, Jörg Haustein (Cambridge University) and Romina Istratii (SOAS, University of London) will visit the Centre for the Study of World Christianity and Religion in Stavanger.

Jörg Haustein (Cambridge University) and Romina Istratii (SOAS, University of London) will be key-note speakers at the symposium.

An important event in the launching of our rebranded PhD-centre, Centre for the Study of World Christianity and Religion, will take place at VID's campus in Stavanger 11-12 June. Two of UK’s most prominent experts on Christianity in Ethiopia, Jörg Haustein (Cambridge University) and Romina Istratii (SOAS, University of London) will be key-note speakers and share recent findings from their research in Ethiopia.

In addition, several of our own PhD-students: Teshome Amenu, Tsion Alemayehu and Maria Karlsson – in addition to Associate Professor Girum Zeleke will present their ongoing reserach on Chriatianity in Ethiopia.
