Evacuation Instructions VID Bergen

All students are responsible for familiarizing themselves with escape routes in the building and following applicable instructions in the event of an evacuation. Evacuation plans are posted around the building.

Instructions

Preventive fire protection

  • You must know where the escape routes are
  • You must know where the fire extinguishing equipment is installed and be able to use it.

In case of fire alarm

  • Act calmly so that panic does not arise
  • Assist people who need help
  • Go to the meeting place (down on the lawn by the Amphitheater)

In case of fire

  • Notify: Press the nearest alarm button, and call 110
  • Extinguish: Try to extinguish the fire
  • Rescue: Rescue people in danger
  • Limit: Close windows and doors
  • Evacuate
