Du må ha et rettslig grunnlag for å behandle personopplysninger, også kalt behandlingsgrunnlag. Avhengig av hvilket grunnlag du velger, må behandlingen også oppfylle noen vilkår. Information letter

Whether or not consent is used as the legal basis for processing personal data, there is almost always an ethical requirement to provide information to participants and obtain their consent to participate in your project. Use Sikt’s template for information letter.

Be clear who will have access to personal data. For example, will someone else be transcribing your interviews? This must be stated in your information letter.
