Research on the Intercultural History of Christianity (RethinC)
RethinC does research on the Intercultural History of Christianity.
What are we researching?
Our members focus on various aspects dealing with the intercultural history of World Christianity. Some focus on Asia, others on Africa, and we are generally interested in understanding Christianity within the history of colonialism and the empires of the world. Mission history is an integral part of what we do, and we work closely with the mission archive at VID Stavanger. We plan and hold conferences, workshops, and reading and discussion groups on topics of mutual interest.
