Church and practice (CAP)
The Church and Practice (CAP) research group explores various topics at the intersection of church and practice. The group works interdisciplinary and includes both empirical approaches and more theoretical and hermeneutical methods.
What are we researching?
Members of CAP research various practices in light of a church context in a broad sense, and an open understanding of practical theology serves as the primary disciplinary framework.
Research is conducted on worship leadership, the pastoral calling, religious education issues, healing practices, prophecy, and diaconal practices, locally and globally.
