User involvement in health and welfare services (BRUHEV)

The group conducts research on users' spaces for participation in health and welfare services, both at the individual and collective level.

What are we researching?

The group is concerned with topics such as interprofessional collaboration, the involvement of relatives, and the influence of interest organizations. We are also concerned with user involvement in work inclusion efforts and how health competence among professionals in services such as NAV can strengthen user involvement. Furthermore, we conduct research on participation in elderly care and child welfare. The group's research activities often involve interaction with the field of practice, including co-researchers from practice.

The group is broadly composed of members from VID's three faculties, and our expertise is related to health sciences, social work, and organization theory. The group actively works with project development and applications for external funding and is open to inquiries about collaboration.
