Learning opportunities for exchange students

Here we present the selection of courses taught in English at VID Specialized University's three campuses in Bergen, Oslo and Stavanger. Students with sufficient language proficiency in a Nordic language can also apply for courses taught in Norwegian which can be found on our Norwegian web pages.

Courses

Incoming exchange students must pay attention to which city they would like to study. For an overview of courses and programs taught in English in each city, choose the city of your choice below.

Internships/placements

VID cannot guarantee the availability of internships/placements for exchange students every semester. VID's placement partners have the final say in accepting or rejecting students for placements in their respective organizations.

Medical testing for Tuberculosis, MRSA and Hepatitis B

You are obliged to submit medical tests if you are going to have clinical practice within the health care sector in Norway. Please read more about medical testing for our incoming exchange students.

Students, who has placement as part of their learning agreement with VID, is required to follow VIDs course and evaluation plan during the practical studies/internship.

VID does not facilitate internships for students who are not admitted as exchange students, nor does it organize internships for students that have finished a professional degree at their home institution.

NOTE! If you receive an offer about internship with clinical practice you must prepare for medical testing before the internship can commence.
