Om prosjektet
This project focuses on the early Christian identity presented in the New Testament, specifically in 1 Corinthians. It attempts to read Paul’s echoes of the Shema in 1 Corinthians and its social functions in constructing the early Christian identity. It will employ the Social Identity Theory (SIT), now widely used in New Testament studies, as a theoretical framework. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the early Christianity and New Testament scholarships, especially in early Christian identity studies.
