Learning, digitization and simulation in health professions (LÆRDIS)

The purpose of the research group is to conduct research on learning, digitization, and simulation with the aim of strengthening competence within health professional education and practice. The group includes projects that explore learning in various arenas; on campus (including in the simulation lab), through the use of technology, and in the field.

What are we researching?

The research associated with LÆRDIS focuses on learning and quality development in the university college's health professional education programs and in the field of practice. One of our focus areas is quality development of teaching practice in health professional education programs, and the projects are carried out in collaboration with the field of practice and the health services. LÆRDIS members primarily work at VID campus Bergen and Stavanger, as well as Helgeland. It is therefore a multi-campus and interdisciplinary research group.
