Governance Documents

VID Specialized University is committed to equality and diversity, in line with our values and our motto: "Committed to Humanity - Locally and Globally."

Our efforts against discrimination are embedded in our personnel policy and recruitment procedures. We have guidelines for the support and development of staff, from hiring to termination. VID has also developed a document on life phase-oriented personnel policies and guidelines addressing unwanted sexual attention, which helps create a positive environment for equality.

For the period 2022-2025, VID has an action plan for equality and diversity. This plan aims to help us achieve our goals by promoting diversity and preventing discrimination in the workplace.

VID Specialized University conducts annual due diligence assessments in accordance with the Transparency Act. We publish a report on these assessments.

The Transparency Act promotes respect for human rights and working conditions. This report outlines our due diligence assessments, as well as the measures we have considered and implemented to reduce the risk of negative impacts related to human rights and decent working conditions in our activities and business relationships.

At VID Specialized University, the environment and sustainability are top priorities. We focus on comprehensive environmental management, where all units work to continually reduce their local environmental impacts. This is in line with our overarching environmental goals.
