Is the book available? Pick it up yourself
If a book is available on the shelf in your campus library, you need to go to the library to borrow the book on the spot. We do not hold such books for you. You can only place holds on books that are already checked out.
Choose the correct pick-up location
You must pick up the book at the campus library you select as pick-up location when you request in Oria. We do not send held books between our campus libraries. You cannot choose a campus library where the book is available on the shelf.
Check out the book before you go
When you pick up books in the library, you need to register them as loans. This applies to books you have on the hold shelf that you come to collect as well. Use the self-service loan machine in the library to register the loans.
