VID does not have an Institutional Review Board which reviews research studies to ensure that they comply with applicable regulations.
All researchers at VID must follow the research ethical standards established by the The Norwegian National Research Ethics Committees. Projects that involve human subjects must be pre-assessed by Data Protection Services for research provided by Sikt (Norwegian Agency for Shared Services in Education and Research) and handled in accordance with the current privacy regulations for research.
