iEMPOWERHEALTH Implementing digital postgraduate education on empowerment and health promotion intervention
This project aim to implement a digital postgraduate education for students and health care professsionals internationally, including learning new and innovative approaches to health promotion. To strengthen clinical practice on empowerment and health promotion in chronic disease ands to faciliate student mobility on postgraduate level.

Health promotion in chronic disease is a new field of research that needs international development of new approaches. This project implies a unique opportunity to strengthen much-needed skills in international clinical practice through integrating postgraduate education and research on empowerment and health promotion in the context of chronic disease.
The digital curriculum will be based on a previously developed interdisciplinary study module on empowerment and health promotion in chronic disease conducted face-to-face in Norway: Continuing Education in health promotion theories and tools: Interdisciplinary specialization in Bodyknowledging.
Part 1: Theories and approaches for health promotion in chronic disease.
Part 2: Application of health promotion intervention in community care, outpatient clinics or rehabilitation. Research on students experience and evaluations of the education and studies of the outcome for participating users of the health promotion program, is an integrated part of the education.
